Espresso Machine Temperature Sensor
Espresso, a type of coffee with a strong flavor, is brewed by using hot water at 92 degrees Celsius and high-pressure brewing over finely ground coffee powder.
The temperature of the water will lead to a difference in the taste of the coffee, and the temperature sensor will play a very important role.
1. Low temperature (83 - 87 ℃) If you use hot water in the low temperature range to do the brewing, you can only release the more superficial flavor elements, such as the taste of the bright sour flavor is released at this time. So if you like sour flavors, it is recommended to hand brew with lower water temperatures, the sour flavor will be more pronounced.
2. Medium temperature (88 - 91 ℃) If you use medium temperature hot water for brewing, you can release the middle layer of flavor elements, such as the bitterness of caramel, but this bitterness is not so heavy that it overpowers the acidity, so you will taste the sweet and sour neutral taste. So if you prefer a milder flavor in the middle, we recommend hand brewing at a medium temperature.
3. High temperature (92 - 95 ℃) Finally, the high temperature range, if you use high temperature for hand brewing, you will release quite deep taste elements, such as the caramel bittersweet flavor at medium temperature may be transformed into a carbon flavor. The brewed coffee will be more bitter, but in contrast, the caramel flavor will be fully released and the sweetness will overpower the acidity.
